Hello and welcome to the 3D Printing Shop!
Here, Lowell Makes is home to a number of different 3D printers, available at different levels of repair. We offer a wide variety of desktop FDM machines. These include our three shop-filament Prusa printers, equipped with dedicated print servers and autonomous monitoring to provide a simple day-to-day user experience. Some are suitable for general use, while others are engineering projects of their own. We are equipped with a modified Lulzbot Taz for more demanding engineering applications, and several custom built project printers for more advanced tinkerers. The shop recently received a large donation of Ender 3 Pros, which are being integrated into the shop to expand our throughput capabilities.
If you are looking to get parts printed, we offer that as a service as well. You can begin an order and someone will be in touch.

Alongside our 3D Printing shop, we offer our Rapid Prototyping shop as well!
Here we operate with machinery that is automatically controlled through computer software called CNC. These devices are able to cut and manufacture complex designs in various materials such as metals, wood, plastic, foam and more. The shop allows you to freely engineer physical parts and models to fulfill your creative needs. The main equipment used in the shop is our two cutting machines, the MillRight CNC Router and the X-Carve CNC router.
