March at Lowell Makes is full of ways to connect, create, and support the maker community. Join us for our Pi Day Celebration on March 14, hang out at the Monthly Social on March 20, and catch up with fellow makers at the next Members Meeting.
We’re also gearing up for the 14th Annual Mill City Skill Share on April 11. There’s still time to submit a class proposal before the March 16 deadline, and registration is now open. We’re also looking for volunteers and sponsors to help make this free, community-powered event possible.
In shop news, the Ceramics Studio Fundraiser continues through March 31, with two fun classes to support the effort. The Jewelry & Glass shop also recently received a generous donation of classic metalsmithing tools, and Rapid Prototyping is firing on all cylinders with updated equipment, classes, and more.
You’ll also find an update on the transition from the Operations Committee to new IT and Facilities committees, plus our usual listings of committee meetings, classes, meetups, and local community events.
