In February 2020, The Lowell Sun reported on our exciting plans at Lowell Makes to expand into a larger space. As a nonprofit makerspace in Lowell, Massachusetts, we’ve been providing artisans, entrepreneurs, and hobbyists with the tools and collaborative environment needed to bring their ideas to life since our founding in 2013.
Our growth has been fueled by the dedication of our members and the support of the community. In 2020, we acquired a new, larger facility at 150 Western Avenue, allowing us to enhance our offerings and better serve the creative community in Lowell.
This expansion enables us to provide more space for innovation, collaboration, and learning. We’re excited about the opportunities this new facility brings, including the development of new workshops and the ability to host larger events and classes.
We invite you to join us on this journey as we continue to foster creativity and innovation in Lowell. Whether you’re an artist, engineer, maker, or thinker, there’s a place for you at Lowell Makes.
