Whew, it’s a scorcher out there! Come cool off in the gloriously air-conditioned comfort of Lowell Makes and get creative.
Even if you’re not working on a project, there’s plenty happening this summer. Lend a hand at our All Hands Work Day (July 12), bring a dish to the Summer BBQ Potluck (July 19), join us for the State of the Makerspace Meeting (August 5), and view beautiful Japanese quilts at the Quilt Museum (August 9). The always-chill Computer Lab is hosting an “End of 10” Linux workshop (August 8), the Media Studio and Marketing are joining forces (July 15), while Ceramics has lots of opportunities to “throw down” on the pottery wheel.
For more summer fun, we’re sponsoring a booth at this year’s Lowell Folk Festival for members to sell their wares. There’s also an open call for makers and sellers for a Pop-up village at Dutton St. Market.
And of course, don’t miss our latest classes and meetups—see what’s coming up!
