Back-to-School Ride-a-Long with Lowell Makes
September 4 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm$15
This back-to-school season, take a family bike ride down the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail hosted by the Lowell Makes Bike Shop.
We will meet at the head of the trail in the Ultimate Kronos Group (Crosspoint Building) parking lot at 10am. Five Lowell Makes bike guides will accompany the group down the trail to Heart Pond where we will rest and relax a bit (about 8mi round trip). This ride is supposed to be easy going and family friendly, but if anything happens or you need a ride back we will have a support van to drive you back to the parking lot.
Included in your ticket is a Lowell Makes water bottle and cycling support, including guides who can patch a tube, show you how to use the tools accessible on the trail, and teach you trail etiquette. You’ll also have access to the support van if needed.
This is a great way to celebrate the end of the summer and begin the school year with friends and family coming together on the trail. Here is a link to the google maps of the trail: Google Maps BFRT route.
*All participants will need a signed waiver. You can download the waiver and bring it with you or complete one when you arrive. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the entire ride.
