Arduino 102: User and Sensor Input, Output
February 15 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm$65
About this Event
Guided experiments will introduce you to different ways of communicating with the Arduino platform. Gain hands-on experience with a variety of input methods, as well as ways to display and communicate with the world.
Basic Arduino experience or the Arduino 101 class is strongly suggested. Experienced programmers without hardware experience may be able to keep up with the class, but the content of Arduino 101 will not be taught.
For use in the class, an Arduino board and several sensor types/output methods will be provided.
Arduino, sensor, and output kits will be available for purchase for use during experiment time and to take home after the class, but no additional purchase is required to follow along with the class.
Bringing a laptop with the Arduino platform installed is suggested (https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software), although several laptops are available for use if needed.
Students will be prepared for Arduino 103 after this class. Arduino 103 will cover electronics knowledge from an electrical engineering perspective, and guide students through formalizing their circuit designs.
