2020 VIRTUAL Mill City Skill Share
May 2 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
At Lowell Makes we believe that collaboration is a truly effective form of learning. A skill share aligns with our values because it is a free, crowd-sourced learning event for community members to educate one another. This event is open to the public; you do not need to be a member to teach or attend a class.
Due to COVID-19, we’ve decided to postpone this year’s Mill City Skill Share to fall 2020 (date TBD); however, we are planning a virtual event for our original date, Saturday, May 2, from 11am – 4pm!
You can teach or take a class on May 2 while safe at home.
What will that look like? Well, for several hours on May 2 participants will be able to tune into a livestream of people sharing their skills from home. Participants will be able to ask questions via chat and Lowell Makes will moderate on the back end. Instructors can sign up for a 30 minute time slot and teach from home. Remember – it can be any skill or topic! If you choose to be an instructor, we’ll handle all the technology and make it easy – it will be just like joining a video call.
